Darren Waters, MD, FACEP, Medical Director

Dr. Waters is a graduate of the University of South Alabama Medical School. He went on to do his post-graduate training at the University of Kentucky Medical Center where he was the Chief Resident. Dr. Waters is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Emergency Medicine and has practiced Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine since graduating residency. Dr. Waters is married and has two children. Dr. Waters has a special interest in Occupational and Sports Medicine and is the Medical Review Officer for the clinic.

Shannon Waters, MD, FACEP

Dr. Waters did her undergraduate training at the University of South Alabama and went to medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She then did an internship in OB/GYN followed by a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky. After residency she worked as an attending physician at the University of Kentucky in their trauma center teaching both residents and medical students until she moved to California where she worked in the emergency department of a community ER. She then moved back to Mobile and has been practicing here in Mobile since. She is a fellow in the American College of Emergency Medicine. She is married with two children.

Scott McNair MD, FAAP, FACP

Dr. McNair is a graduate of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He went on to complete a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at USA. Dr. McNair is a fellow of the American Board of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. He has practiced in the USA Trauma Center as an assistant professor of emergency medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics for ten years. Dr. McNair lives in Mobile with his wife and three children.

Robert Vickers, MD

Dr. Vickers received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. He graduated from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, School of Medicine. Dr Vickers completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University, School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He is a native of Mobile and previously worked in the emergency room and as a professor for the University of Alabama, School of Medicine at Tuscaloosa. He is married and has three children.

Christopher Frailie, MD

Dr. Frailie received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and his medical degree from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Frailie completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and is Board certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Frailie lives in Fairhope with his wife Katie and their three children.

Richard Hwang, MD, FACS

Dr. Hwang completed his undergraduate training and medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then did an internship followed by a residency at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Hwang practiced as a general surgeon in Mobile for over eight years and is happy to have entered the urgent care setting now. Dr. Hwang is the Medical Director of our affiliate clinic, Greater Mobile Laser and Aesthetic Center. He and his wife live in Mobile with their two children.

Sara Long, MD

Dr. Long earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of South Alabama and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Long lives in Mobile with her husband.

Lynn McDonnell, MD, FAAP, FACP

Dr. McDonnell completed her undergraduate training at Auburn University and then obtained her medical degree at the University of South Alabama. She did a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama where she then served as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for twelve years. Dr. McDonnell resides in Mobile and has a daughter.

Patrick McGuire, MD

Dr. McGuire obtained his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama where he then served as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine for six years. After this he served as Chief Medical Officer for George Regional Health Care Systems for five years while conducting a private practice in Lucedale, MS. Dr. McGuire Is currently Board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He lives in Mobile with his wife and daughter.

Ahsley Myers, MD

Dr. Myers completed her undergraduate training at the University of Alabama and then obtained her medical degree at the University of South Alabama. She completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Myers is board certified in Internal Medicine. She lives in Mobile, Alabama with her husband.

Jill Ringold, MD

Dr. Ringold completed her undergraduate training at the University of Alabama and obtained her medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. She then completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Ringold is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She lives in Mobile with her husband and three children.

Susan Steadman Sweeney, MD

Dr. Sweeney received her undergraduate degree in Respiratory Care from the University of South Alabama in 1984. After graduating from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 1993 she moved to Grand Junction, Colorado for a Residency in Family Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr Sweeney and her husband Joe ,both native Mobilians, return home after eighteen years in Colorado. They have two grown sons who still live in Colorado.
